My Project Manager is the Reality TV Star!
A few months ago, My co-worker Acie came to Denver to manage a portion of the project I am on. A great guy, fun, responsible and doesn’t give you shit.
As my project is wrapping up and 80% of people are leaving Denver this week, the partner organized a farewell meeting at Rock Bottom today to have our last Brew-ha-ha gathering. After the regular “Great Work!”, “Fantastic Team!” bullshit, an unusual announcement was made. Apparently, Acie got on an ABC’s dating show called “Hooking up” which will air nationwide tomorrow night.
I found Acie on the company’s instant messaging service and apparently he has been swamped with the incoming messages from all over the places. “Oh, great… burying my head in the sand…” he claimed. Now, that explains the mysterious flights he took last Oct/Nov to New York.

I have actually been watching “Hooking Up” since its premier and I can so relate to some of the stories. I too dated online for some time. No success I’m afraid. I guess my “other half” will have to find me one way or the other.
Saw last night’s episode. I was so rooting for Acie. He seemed like a really nice guy. His soulmate’s out there …. patience.

I too had no luck with online dating. Some people even lie about their heights and occupations. Acie at least is lucky enough to get on TV. For the rest of us, we have to hope for the best to happen. My 2 cents.
